Decision Makers

A number of Committees and Groups is involved in the management of the Programme.  In addition to the involvement of The Scottish Executive and The European Commission, a wide range of partners and representatives are also involved from the local authorities, the Enterprise Network, the Higher and Further education sector, the social and voluntary sector and the private sector.

The Scottish Executive chairs the Programme Monitoring and Management Committees along with the Thematic and Sectoral Groups.  Advisory Groups are chaired by an independently appointed convenor.

Projects are formally approved by the Scottish Executive Ministers.  The chart below indicates the relationship between the various structures involved in the implementation of the Programme.
