Advisory Groups

The formal appraisal of applications submitted to the Programme is undertaken by three Advisory Groups which are chaired by an independent Convenor. The Advisory Groups consist of technical and Programme experts and comprise approximately 11 members per group. Advisory Group members assess each application against agreed selection criteria and are required to take a strategic overview of the Programme.

The Advisory Groups usually meet once during each application round and once under the fast-tracking procedures. In some instances, Advisory Groups may request additional information on submissions in order to make recommendations to the PManC.
