Programme Updates 
Programme Updates
Four successful application rounds have now been completed and a number of fast track projects also approved. The most recent approvals under the ESF programme are very much focussed on the key sectors and supporting those affected by the economic downturn and are spread throughout the region. A range of projects have been supported under Round 4 of the ERDF Programme with a number of community energy projects in fragile areas such as the Isle of Gigha. Commitment across both Programmes is slightly lower than anticipated for this time in the Programme cycle and it is hoped that 2010 will bring a number of strategic projects in the key sectors especially in areas such as renewable energy and toursim.
