CED

Funds have been made available through Priority 4 Sub-Priority B for the strategic implementation of small-scale community development actions across the region in support of the objectives of the Highlands and Islands Special Transitional Programme.

Priority 4b comprises five Measures - a horizontal ERDF Measure to support capacity building effort and one for each of the funds to support integrated local plans.

The objective of the sub-priority is to facilitate `bottom up` community development through the investment in an integrated package of actions at the local level - community level or `community of interest` level.  The funds are delivered through local partnerships which have public and community representatives.
