First Minister Alex Salmond has announced the ERDF and ESF approvals for Round 4 of the Highlands and Islands 2007-2013 ERDF and ESF Programmes today. The full announcement is available on the Scottish Government website:

First Minister Alex Salmond announced the ERDF approvals on Monday 23rd March at the Convention for the Highlands and Islands, on Arran. A total of 16 projects and 2 CPP Plans were approved (one each for Orkney and Shetland Isles).

The Scottish Government has provided an updated version of the "Notes for Applicants", particularly aligning guidance to the new Eurosys System and this is available on the HIPP website under the Downloads (under Application Process). This should be utilised in tandem with the User Flowcharts previously issued and available in the Downloads Section under Application Pack.
