How to Apply

Funds are accessible either directly to the ERDF and ESF Programmes through the on-line application system (Eurosys); or through the Community Planning Partnership (CPP) Plans.

When first considering an application it is important you contact the Intermediate Administration Body for advice before proceeding – simple checks on whether a project is eligible and fits with the Programmes can be made early in the process.

The IAB advises that all potential project applicants carefully review the ERDF or ESF Programme document (whichever is appropriate to the project) in particular focussing on Chapter 4 (Strategy and Priorities) to understand what activities are eligible.  The Notes for Applicants and associated guidance notes relating to the National Rules for Expenditure (which set out what costs are eligible) provide further important information which applicants need prior to making an application.

Applications are submitted and processed on-line in a three stage process.  The following sub-menus explain the various stages involved.

In addition, fast-track procedures have been approved for projects which are strategic and time critical.  The guidance is available under the Downloads section under Application Pack.
