Stage One
Following registration approval, applicants are required to submit a Stage 1 application form on line. This provides an outline of the proposed project and includes the following information:
- Structural Fund Programme and Priority;
- Implementation timescales
- Indicative expenditure and breakdown of costs;
- Level of Grant sought and proposed grant intervention rate;
- Sources of co-finance and anticipated dates of confirmation;
- A brief description of the proposed project, including an outline of anticipated timescales, objectives, target groups, geographical coverage, partnerships and outputs and results.
This stage allows the Scottish Government and IAB to assess whether a proposal is eligible and fits under the notified priority chosen. The form should be submitted online no later than the Stage 1 deadline in any given application round. Following receipt, the IAB will contact you to advise if the application has been successful and can proceed to Stage 2. At this stage you may be advised that a more suitable fund or priority should be chosen to progress the application.
