Community Planning Partnerships

Structural Funds have been set aside to aid Community Planning Partnership (CPP) Plans brought forward by local authorities across the region.

Each area has been invited to submit a CPP Plan to provide a more integrated approach to supporting the most fragile areas in the region.  Activities will be focussed mainly on ERDF Priority 3 (community infrastructure, services, communications) with ESF support available also.  Whilst it is envisaged that most of the ESF support will be through Priority 1 (increasing the workforce), some Plans may focus on other areas if these provide the integrated package required at a local level.  The areas include:

  • Argyll and Bute
  • Highland
  • North Ayrshire (Arran and Cumbraes only)
  • Orkney
  • Shetland
  • West Moray
  • Western Isles

Once a Plan has been approved by the Programme Monitoring Committee, the individual projects within the Plan will be submitted when ready.  Approximately £8million from ERDF (from Priority 3) and ESF (Priority 1) has been set aside for these activities.  The following Plans have been approved to date:
