Who can apply

Any organisation who is either public or voluntary and deemed eligible to apply by the Scottish Executive can apply for Structural Fund assistance towards a project which is located within the Programme area. Details on eligibility can be found in the application pack within the Policy Guidance document.

The private sector is not eligible to apply directly for funds.  There are a number of schemes operated by several public agencies which can provide assistance to the sector (please refer to “current support schemes”).  Private sector projects in the public interest may be eligible and require an eligible body to sponsor an application.
